First Grade

Curriculum at a Glance

The curriculum in grade one consists mostly of reading, phonics, and writing sentences and paragraphs.  We also practice our letter formation and legibility. We study the gospels and relate them to our lives. 

Highlights

Grade one enjoys working on the smart board, storytime, and working with different art media. Our favorite field trips were to the Playhouse and The O Wow MUseum
